Who are we?
At Serene Minds, we believe that parenting and motherhood should be a journey of empowerment, not isolation. We understand the unique challenges that come with balancing family, career, and personal well-being. That’s why we are committed to creating a supportive, understanding, and nurturing space where women can find the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to thrive.

We are here to remind you that taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as caring for your loved ones.
Our team’s personal and professional experience allows us to deeply understand the real-life struggles that impact mental well-being. Whether it’s the pressures of modern motherhood, navigating work-life balance, or managing personal challenges, we are here to support you on your path to wellness.
At Serene Minds, we believe that a healthier, happier tomorrow starts with the steps we take today. Let’s walk this journey together.

Meet the Team

Marie Sinclair (Founder)
REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH NURSE
I’m a full-time working mum of three and a trained mental health nurse with over 13 years of experience in healthcare. But beyond the professional titles, I’m a mother who has felt the overwhelming weight of balancing career, family, and personal well-being. I know the silent struggles, the moments of self-doubt, and the deep love that fuels everything we do as mums.
Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also feel isolating. We give so much of ourselves to our children, our work, and our homes that we often forget about us. I started Serene Minds because I’ve been there and I’ve felt the exhaustion, the guilt, the pressure to have it all together. And I know firsthand how important it is to have a space where we can be heard, supported, and reminded that we are not alone.

Valentina Rubino
NUTRITION AND WELLNESS SPECIALIST
I’m Valentina, originally from Italy, and I moved to London in 2016, where I live with my husband and our two children, aged 8 and 4. During my second maternity leave, I pursued my passion for health and well-being by becoming a Nutrition Coach. Two years later, I expanded my expertise by earning my Level 3 Personal Trainer certification, allowing me to offer a holistic approach to wellness, combining nutrition, fitness, and self-care.
I’m deeply passionate about personal development, mindset coaching, sports, and women’s empowerment, and I love helping others find balance and confidence in their health journey. My mission is to support individuals in achieving sustainable well-being through a 360-degree approach to nutrition, fitness, and mindset transformation.

Dr Melissa Petronikolos
PSYCHIATRIST
As a psychiatrist and mother of two, I understand firsthand the delicate balance between a demanding medical career and the deeply personal journey of motherhood. My clinical expertise has given me profound insight into the psychological, emotional, and physiological toll of stress, anxiety, and burnout on mothers. Yet, motherhood itself has been my greatest teacher in navigating resilience, self-compassion, and emotional well-being.
Many women silently endure perinatal mental health disorders, maternal burnout, and chronic stress, often feeling inadequate due to societal stigma. However, maternal mental health is not just emotional, it’s a complex interplay of hormonal, neurocognitive, and psychological factors. I joined Serene Minds to bridge the gap between clinical care and the real-life struggles of overwhelmed mothers, offering evidence-based strategies, psychoeducation, and therapeutic support.
